Haul: What I got my Boyfriend for Christmas

Hi all!

I hope everyone had a lovely and relaxing Christmas. I know I did and it was filled with wine...

I decided before I gifted my Boyfriend his presents I would take a picture of them and share with you what I got. I thought it would be a nice spin instead of annoying you all with what I received from Saint Nick.

Seán(the Boy) loves to wear suits. Any chance he gets he's in one. He's even sent me a picture here and there where he's just put one on at home 'for the craic' so I decided that something to do with this obsession would be appropriate. He's also studying Computer Science in college so is a self confessed nerd. So with that back story here is what I got!

I got these nerd cuff links back in October when I was browsing Etsy(for the first time) looking for ideas for Christmas(I like to start early) when i saw 'Geek cufflinks' this sent me on a frenzy to find ones saying Nerd as it's a running joke but also terribly true! I came across a pair here so was delighted!
On passing one day Seán mentioned how he would love a pocket watch for when he wears a suit so I stored that information and bought him exactly that. It's from Sekonda so it wasn't very expensive but it looks it in my opinion and what's more important is he loved it! I was so happy with his reaction that I think it's safe to say it's one of the best presents I've ever got someone before!

So that is what I got my Boyfriend for Christmas! We also made something for each other but one I'm not going to bore you with it and two it's more on the personal side.

Did any of you get something for a loved one this year that you feel you hit the mark spot on? Or did you receive something that was just perfect for you?

I hope you're all well and I'll talk to you in the New Year!(eek!)

Love and Hugs,

Alice May xx

Haul: Louboutins, Skater Skirts & Eye Shadow

I haven't done a haul in quite some time but I got myself a few bits as I felt I deserved a wee treat!

Firstly are my very first pair of Christian Louboutins. You would expect to see sky high stilettos with the signature red sole. Although these beauties have the red sole they are anything but high!
I'm sure you're all familiar with Siopa Ella the 'swap boutique and consignment store'.  They stock a lot of designer gear and I always keep my eye on Siopa Ella's Facebook for anything extra special; which is exactly what happened when these Brown Christian Louboutin leather Chelsea boots showcased themselves. Before I knew it I was in the shop trying them and handing over my card.
They set me back €195 but considering they where hardly worn and worth a lot more I didn't get too upset! I've been looking for a nice pair of Chelsea boots for ages so actually I'm extremely happy!
The next thing was another thing I spied in my daily LivingSocial(discount coupan website) email. I usually hate these emails and always try to remember to unsubscribe myself from the annoying at least 5 a day subscription servive. But I saw that they had a deal on a 120 eye shadow palatte for €15 when normally it's about €60 from KwikStore. I've wanted a palette like this for my kit for ages so was delighted at the cheap price! I've used a few colours and so far so good!
The last 2 things are from BooHoo.com. I love the skater skirt trend as their super flattering and really easy to wear. You don't have to worry about being bloated with  them either so this makes it all the better!
The first one is called the 'Jessie Scuba Skater Skirt' in sugar-coral and the second is the 'Jess Skater Skirt' in berry(no longer available) both where €15. I amn't 100% happy with the material of either of the skirts and if you're thinking of getting the sugar-coral get it in your size if not one size bigger but definitely not any smaller!
So there you have it! My few purchases over the last while. If you'd like a more in dept post on any of the items I got just let me know!
I also bought my flights and put down a deposit on accomadation for my holiday with my friends this summer! I won't be spending any money for a while cause I'm officially broke again! ha ha

Until next time,
Love ya!

London Haul!

I'm moving to London! It's official. Every time I go there I fall more in love with the place!
I took outfit picture's for the 2 days and 1 for when we 'hit the town' so I'll have them up during the week but for now I thought I would share the few things I got whilst I was there!
It's weird because I'm not a huge fan of hauls, yet I have 2 in a row but sure when in Rome London!

The first thing I got was this amazing body mist from the new Victoria's Secret shop(it's the biggest in the world being the flag ship store and all!) It smells like a proper perfume which is really good as it's a cheaper alternative. It cost me £14. I also got 2 pairs of underwear from the 'Pink' section but for obvious reasons I'm not gonna haul them!

I got this white rose bike chain type necklace from H&M and it cost £6.something. This one will be in my 1st outfit post(spoiler! Shock!)
I've decided that everywhere I go in the world I'm going to get a starbucks mug that says the place on it then in years to come my press will be filled with cool mugs from all around the world. I love mis-matching mugs! It's super big and I can't wait to fill it with coffee! This was £8.50 I think..

I really wanted to get the Mac strobe cream on my way to London but I was scared I'd have no money but I didn't go as crazy as I thought I would in fact, I did really well I think! So when I saw the mac counter in Gatwick I kinda spazzed out! I think I saved about €2 by buying it in the airport too which is good! It cost me £17.something

I did get an I heart London white tshirt but it's dirty so I'll let you just imagine it!

Keep an eye out for my outfit posts and when their up I'll probably link them in this post as well but until then
I hope you're all well and I'll talk to you soon,
Alice x

River Island Haul

Today I went a wee bit crazy in River Island but I had just had an interview and they did have 20% student discount today only so I would be crazy not to avail of it right?

I'm going to London tomorrow for the weekend so honestly I just wanted to get something super stylish  to walk around London in plus we're going out on Saturday night for my cousins 24th Birthday and I feel like I've worn everything twice in my wardrobe! I'm hoping to take detailed photo's of my outfit each day and then post them when I get back!

So firstly I got this gorgeous 'Black Boucle Panelled Peplum Top' that has a silver thread going through it which is purty! It's really flattering as it has a panel type design to it. This set me back €33

This 'Black Coated Mini Skater Skirt' caught my eye as I have nothing like it and I thought it was kind of cool and you know me trying to be all hip! It looks and feels like leather but I highly doubt it was as it was only €25. It's high waisted and again pretty flattering.

Finally my favourite purchase today is this 'Dark Grey Shearling Fallway Cardigan' I love it so much it's really cosy and as I said in my video I could imagine wearing it with jeans, a simple top and handbad on the hook of my elbow.(That said my first outfit is far from simple!) This was the most expensive item at €60.

So that's my haul, if this isn't enough I made a video on it all so you can check that out too!
So until next time, I hope you're all well and I'll talk to you soon,
Alice x

All prices are without the 20% discount.
