Christmas Outfit Ideas!

Hey everyone!

Today I'm writing a post with some outfit ideas to wear over the Christmas period. Everyone has parties and nights out around this time so thought I would show you some of the outfits I would wear.
These three outfits are what I've worn before so the photo's are kind of 'live in action'
Everyone loves a skater skirt, why not pair it with a simple black tee and a gold belt to split it up? I'm wearing brogues with this outfit instead of heels.
I really like to wear jeans and heels when I go out it's super easy, keeps you warm and no worries when it comes to wind! I wore black skinny jeans from River Island, a simple black flowy top, A purple blazer for a pop of colour, simple nude shoes and my Michael Kors handbag
I love this dress! I wore it to my cousins wedding believe it or not just over a year ago and it has seen so much wear! I wore is on Christmas day last year. It's just a simple black skater style velvet dress from New Look that I paired with a simple gold belt from Penny's. I love wearing all black(have you noticed?) so wearing black tights and black heels I feel brings the whole outfit together.
Lastly I just wanted to briefly show the dress I'll be wearing this Christmas. I don't have the best pictures but I wore it to a wedding in October. I'll be wearing this navy dress from A|Wear the same way but with tights. I bought the purple blazer from the 'jeans outfit' for this dress so I'll wear that too. I bought low nude heels for the wedding as I had a sprained ankle at the time and I also didn't want sky scrapers! As a result I was able to wear them for ages so think this is a new thing for me!

I hope I gave you some ideas on what to wear this Christmas season. I hope you're all doing really well.

All my love,

Alice May xx

Haul: Louboutins, Skater Skirts & Eye Shadow

I haven't done a haul in quite some time but I got myself a few bits as I felt I deserved a wee treat!

Firstly are my very first pair of Christian Louboutins. You would expect to see sky high stilettos with the signature red sole. Although these beauties have the red sole they are anything but high!
I'm sure you're all familiar with Siopa Ella the 'swap boutique and consignment store'.  They stock a lot of designer gear and I always keep my eye on Siopa Ella's Facebook for anything extra special; which is exactly what happened when these Brown Christian Louboutin leather Chelsea boots showcased themselves. Before I knew it I was in the shop trying them and handing over my card.
They set me back €195 but considering they where hardly worn and worth a lot more I didn't get too upset! I've been looking for a nice pair of Chelsea boots for ages so actually I'm extremely happy!
The next thing was another thing I spied in my daily LivingSocial(discount coupan website) email. I usually hate these emails and always try to remember to unsubscribe myself from the annoying at least 5 a day subscription servive. But I saw that they had a deal on a 120 eye shadow palatte for €15 when normally it's about €60 from KwikStore. I've wanted a palette like this for my kit for ages so was delighted at the cheap price! I've used a few colours and so far so good!
The last 2 things are from BooHoo.com. I love the skater skirt trend as their super flattering and really easy to wear. You don't have to worry about being bloated with  them either so this makes it all the better!
The first one is called the 'Jessie Scuba Skater Skirt' in sugar-coral and the second is the 'Jess Skater Skirt' in berry(no longer available) both where €15. I amn't 100% happy with the material of either of the skirts and if you're thinking of getting the sugar-coral get it in your size if not one size bigger but definitely not any smaller!
So there you have it! My few purchases over the last while. If you'd like a more in dept post on any of the items I got just let me know!
I also bought my flights and put down a deposit on accomadation for my holiday with my friends this summer! I won't be spending any money for a while cause I'm officially broke again! ha ha

Until next time,
Love ya!

First Impressions: Ugg Dakota Moccasin's

For anyone who follows me on twitter (which you can do here) I was tweeting as I was doing a spot of Christmas shopping which included making a purchase for yours truly, c'est moi!

I have wanted a pair of tan Ugg Dakota Moccasin's for 2 years since my cousin Máire first came to spend Christmas with us and she sported a pair. Basically they are slippers but because of the sole on the bottom you can wear them out doors too! They keep your feet really snug, warm and dry!
I couldn't justify spending nearly €100 on a pair of well slippers essentially but as the idea of them stuck in my head for so long and I found myself thinking you know what I could wear with this outfit? You get the idea I really wanted them!

To me their kind of like the ballet flats/pumps of winter. It's far too cold for the dainty shoes but sometime boots are just not what you want to wear either so i give you moccasin's!
I got mine €90 in Schuh.(€100 without student discount) They were being sold in Arnotts for €95 and you can get the 'Ansley'(look like loafers) in House of Fraser, BT2 and the 2 shops that stock the Dakota as I said(I've done my research!)

The box that they came in says that they are made with water resistant material's. I don't remember seeing thing on my classic tall Uggs I got a few years ago so this is a welcome improvement in my books! I also sprayed this protectant spray I got in the Walking company when I was in the states 4 years ago.

Baiscally i am in love them so far so let's see how they stand the test of time!

Until next time, I hope you're all well and I'll talk to you soon,
Alice x
ps I was a bad blogger and have been wearing the Uggs since I got them inside and out before photographing

London OOTD: Night Out

The whole reason we went to London is because it was my cousin(girl in the black)'s Birthday and she lives in London so on Saturday night there were drinks in her house before we all headed out! It was a long night(went to bed at 5am, got a taxi to the airport at 7am..) but a great one at that!

Top from River Island, Bandage Body Con Skirt from BooHoo.com, Shoes from a random shoe shop in Belfast that I got 4 years ago.

So that completes my OOTD's London Style. I hope you guys enjoyed I went to  good bit of effort doing these as my family don't really get blogging so taking these photo's took a while and when I took the photo's for this post there were a bunch of people I didn't know looking at me funny...

Until next time, I hope you're all well and I'll talk to you soon,
Alice x

London OOTD: Day Two

So this day we went all around London playing tourist to the extreme I had more energy as I
didn't have a 4am start like the previous day! Today's outfit was slightly less 'stylish' but sure I was comfy!

Top from H&M, Cardi,Belt & Body Con Skirt(used to cover my bum basically!) from Pennys/Primark, Leggings and Boots from Dunnes Stores, Jacket from NewLook and the bag again is from A|Wear. I didn't mention it before but my watch is by Sekonda and the line is Seksy.

I decided to have my hair slicked back(as much as possible) in a high pony which killed by the end of the day as it was so tight!

Until next time,
I hope you're all well and I'll talk to you soon,

London OOTD: Day One

If you haven't heard I was in London on the weekend, I had a smashing time and am all ready awaiting my next trip over!
I took photo's while over there so I never took my blogging hat off!

This is an overview of my first outfit this was at about 9pm at night after a long day roaming London.

Orange Shirt is from Forever 21, Black Top underneath & Necklace(purchase towards the end of day one) are from H&M, Jacket/Jumper & Skirt are from River Island, Tights from Penny's, Bag from A|Wear and the boots are from Dunnes Stores.

I wore the same shoes and bag for both days so I won't be showing close ups again so drink it all in ladies haha!

Until tomorrow(hopefully) and my next outfit post,
I hope you're all well and I'll talk to you soon,
Alice x
