I often find that when you first apply red lipstick it looks amazing but then when it starts to come off it looks hideous, more so then when a lighter colour starts to wear off. I figured out this way to apply red lipstick that means when it starts to come off it doesn't look like a disaster!
Firstly fill in your lips with a red lip stain. I used Revlon 'Just Bitten' in the colour 'Flame'
Line your lips with a red liner(I didn't have a liner at the time so in the picture's I left out this step! I do like Mac lip pencil in 'Redd' now though)
Apply your favourite red lippy. I used Rimmel in the colour 170 'Alarm' this is a proper bright red
And you're done! The idea is that when the red lipstick starts to come off the lip stain is underneath so it doesn't look terrible. It gives you extra time before topping up on you lipstick.
So why not just use a lip stain you ask? Well I personally like the finish the lipstick gives but if the lip stain is enough for you then more power to you!
I hope you guy's enjoyed this post,
I hope you're all well and I'll talk to you soon
ps please forgive the close up of my bad skin, I had some serious amount of break outs back when I took these photo's!
